Healthy Puppy Guarantee / Contract

Your puppy comes to you vet checked by our Licensed Veterinarian. The puppy is guaranteed until one year of age against genetic / congenital defects which would cause death or the need to be humanely euthanized. Should the puppy be diagnosed with any life threatening congenital defect or dies within the first year for no reason, a written veterinarian report, with autopsy, must be submitted in writing and signed by a licensed veterinarian at buyer's expense. Seller MUST be notified of the problem within 24 hours of the licensed veterinarian's determination.
Seller must receive veterinarian report.

If puppy dies and veterinarian autopsy determines cause to be congenital, seller will replace puppy with the first available puppy
of the same value as soon as possible. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been euthanized without prior permission of the Seller

A returned puppy must be returned to Seller in good condition, other than specified problem, at the buyer's expense. Buyer will then qualify for a replacement puppy of equal value (determined by seller) out of our next available litter. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the Seller. There will be no cash refunds!  'Pam's Puppies'is not responsible for shipping charges to transport a puppy back and forth in the event of a return or replacement for any reason. Any attorney fees involved in fulfilling this contract are the responsibility of the buyer.

Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury, over feeding, underfeeding, excessive crating and if puppy does not have a record of maintenance of veterinary care ,up to date records of vaccinations, de-worming, and heart guard etc. are not covered under this guarantee.
We will not replace your puppy for ear mites or ear infections, parasites: AKA worms, protozoan and external parasites or shipping colds: AKA kennel cough, bordatella, pneumonia, flu, bronchitis or URI. Your vet will offer a medication to remedy the problem.
This guarantee does not include hernias/ruptures, hypoglycemia, coccidiosis or giardia which can happen in puppies that are stressed from moving to new homes  Other certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, such as, allergies, thyroid dysfunction, mange, and other autoimmune disorders are not covered in this guarantee

The seller guarantees a healthy companion pet, but does not guarantee breeding or show quality, adult size, color, coat type, ear set, or temperament.

The most important thing you can do for the good health of your puppy is to complete the worming and vaccinations needed to ensure your puppy continues to enjoy good health. Your vet will set you up on a schedule for this. We can not guarantee total immunity for your puppy as the shots received are just a few in a series and your vet will need to complete them in a timely fashion.

We cannot guarantee adult size, color or temperament as housing, feeding, rearing and treatment of puppies is controlled by the buyer. We do however, do our best to estimate how small or large your puppy will be when grown. Some puppies will lighten or darken in color as they get older. Also how you feed them is very important. Follow your vets advice for brands of food and amount.

Many of our puppies are teacup and toy breeds. They are very tiny when you bring them home. We will not replace a puppy for any form of Hypoglycemia or low blood sugar. You must take your puppy to your veterinarian at the first sign of a problem. You also must feed them WHAT EVER they will eat. Failing to do so constitutes neglect and voids this guarantee.puppies can get hypoglycemia from stress. Make sure your puppy is eating and drinking well for the first few days. I do not guarantee against hypoglycemia as this is not hereditary or a disease. Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar from not eating due to stress, too much activity (not enough rest), or too much handling. Small puppies can undergo stress due to a new environment. I recommend keeping the puppy at home for the first week or two so it has time to adjust to the new environment. It is imperative to keep food out at all times for these breeds while they are puppies so they can eat as they need. Signs to watch for are not eating, throwing up, diarrhea, lethargy (lack of energy), and not drinking. If these signs appear, contact your vet immediately. It is normal for a puppy to have some loose stool after moving to a new home especially when they are flown or shipped. Just be aware of how your puppy is acting for the first few days. Any signs not mentioned above in this paragraph should be addressed with your vet.

All guarantees shall become null and void if the puppy is sold, gave away, or transferred to another person.
